Hi,
Welcome to another blog in which I'm going to talk about Things Wrong With Our Generation. I am also a so-called 90s kid, but nowadays there are things happening that I never understood before and never will.
Firstly, I am going to talk about the most useful,
Most Productive
Most Educational
I'm mean to say that the craze for mobile phones these day. The evolution of these phone has completely changed our world.
In the past there were two type of people;
Then,
Now,
Phones
Nowadays, boys won't go anywhere or do anything without their phones, they even take them in bathroom. As soon as they wake up, their hands automatically reach for their phones. It's like they have a superpower. Whenever they go out, instead of enjoying the atmosphere, they struggle to record everything on their phones. It's almost as if they don't care about what is happening around them, they just want to take photos for their Instagram and stories.
Social Media
Finally, our age has considerable issues as a result of the widespread use of phones and social media, which can detract from real-life experiences and relationships. The fuzzy line between film and reality might skew our perspectives and priorities, limiting our ability to create meaningful connections and maintain healthy relationships. Addressing these challenges involves attention, balance, and a deliberate decision to favor true human connection above digital distractions., where people showcase their talents through blogs. For those who don't know how to use social media, it's like having a gun or a Grenade in their hands. And explain this later, but let me finish first. The content people see on social media in the name of talent eliminates the need to visit 18 + sites. Their thirst is quenched by social media. nowadays MMS videos go viral like Arijit Singh songs.
You must be familiar with this well - known Odisha girl, correct?
Who sold her private photos to gain attention on social media and then claimed to have attempted suicide?
You must have sympathy for her. She alleged to be 16 years old and accused her boyfriend of sharing her private images and videos.
The video is sweeping Instagram and other social media platforms like wildfire. People are even asking for the video and some are asking for money to share it.
Isn't this a a pathetic generation with a shameless boyfriend?
However, the reality is hidden for unexplained reasons in press stories and articles. She's 19 years old, a great Instagram influencer, and the narrative begins when her account was blocked for the first time. She met a banner who told her that if she paid him 25,000rs, he would unban her account and she did what he said. After receiving the money, he unbanned her account, but after a while, it was banned again, and she urged him to unban her.
He stated that he cannot do it, but he knows someone who do it for roughly $200. Within that time frame, someone contacted her online and offered to pay her if she shared her private images and videos. When the girl asked the banner who suggested the other banner, If she should do this or not, the guy simply responded 'no'. He said as a girl, nothing is more essential than your respect and purity. But she was so fascinated with her Instagram account and money that she sent him her private images and videos, Which, as expected he published and it went viral.
Her family witnessed all of the clips, and in defense, She claimed that they were made by AI and filed a FIR. She also included this boy's name (Banner). He revealed everything to the Odisha local police and displayed all the discussions, and it is a lie that she attempted suicide; She is safe and 19 years old (Banner saw her Aadhar Card).
False charges against boys are widespread these days. There was no boyfriend throughout the entire scene. The banner was accused of being her lover in this case. I'm not sure how much the banner suffered during all of this, but what she did was really pathetic. We still don't know who is wrong here, but the most true and comprehensible outcome is the one indicated above because there was no hint of remorse or shame on her face in the photos and video. Thus, the only thing we can do is stay safe. Don't become involved in such issues, neither give nor ask.
This is Orry, a popular social media user nowadays. Everyone wants to know who Orry is, what he's doing, and who the next celebrity he'll be seen with
Arnold Dix, an Australian tunneling expert, rescued 41 Indian workmen who had been trapped in a collapsed tunnel for seventeen days. The majority of individuals I know are unfamiliar with him.
This is our new generation, We are more interested in drama, gossips, celebrity life and meme culture than in what is truly going around us.
Big boss, Orry, and other character are a reflection of our of our culture. "Who is Kartik Aryan is dating?, Elvish bhai ke aage koi bol sakta hai kya?". This is our life in a nutshell.
You should get out of your social media cocoon, explore the world around you. Compliment your mother's food that she prepares and see her lovely smile, get out and observe how beautiful nature is, and meet people instead of chatting with them all night; believe me, conversing in person is more fulfilling than texting.
Chapri TikTokers
While India has the potential to be the next big thing, our kids are being mislead.
Because of the amount of attention and money these TikTok stars receive, young people are following in the wrong footsteps. These entertainers are receiving more attention than those making a meaningful difference. We all recognize performers and actresses in the film business, but few of us are aware of Indian entrepreneurs and people making a genuine difference in society.
For example, when I Googled Nikhil, an actor came up. While the founder of Zerodha (Nikhil Kamath), India's new youngest billionaire and former Chess Champion, did not feature on the front page. He's 34 years old, and few people know about him. We all know about Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates because of the amount of media attention they receive in the United States.
These folks are the true difference makers in India since they directly contribute to economic growth and make the country a better place. It is time to make them our role models and celebrities; only then can India's global position improve.
You must have seen Instagram reels, everyone watches them, right? Well, It's about me - After working non-stop for 4-5 hours, I think of relaxing a bit with Instagram and Facebook, and suddenly, this cringe woman appear on my feed.
We Indians have a habit of making sequels.
Race was a hit;
Sequels
Dhoom was a hit;
Sequels;
Similarly, when TikTok reels became famous, many similar apps emerged.
now all this garbage is on Instagram too.
Some unemployed people download these apps for inspiration and start making videos, thinking they will become famous like others, but the biggest scam is that these people are already wealthy. There's no real talent; it's just about modeling, and they already have a career in modeling, so they use these apps for additional income, whether it's TikTok or Instagram, there's no difference.
Reel Vs Real
You must have seen their profile pictures, how cute, beautiful, and handsome they look, right?
But another scam is that they use filters to take photos and videos; you need to see their real faces, check their Aadhar cards, and you'll know their reality. Literally, I have seen them in real life, you won't recognize their real faces from their reels. It often goes like this:
Relationships
Nowadays, relationships are also based on looks.
Please someone tell them this is India, not South Korea!
These relationships are like renting a tent for weddings, First very eager to use it and then throw it.
There's no real value of relationships in today's generation.
People hang out with each other for a few days, then break up seriously!
If there's no future value in something, why do it?
If you're just running after someone temporarily, it's just a waste of time.
In this generation these relationships are just for killing time.
The worst part is when they break up.
It feels like the biggest tragedy in the world has happened to them.
Bro! Kids of 10 years are putting up breakup statuses.
Bollywood
These are movies that only emphasize love as the most important thing.
They show the same superficial love stories with the same content spun differently.
What do you expect kids to learn from watching such movies?
Their minds will only be filled with the idea that love is the most important thing, problem, or issue.
Get out of these misconceptions!
At last, I want to say this to all those Bollywood movies.
Conclusion
A result of the widespread use of phones and social media, Which can detract from real-life experience and relationships. The blurred line between film and reality might skew our perspective and priorities, limiting our ability to create meaningful connection and maintain healthy relationship. Addressing these challenges involves attention, balance, and a deliberate decision to favor true human.
