So, Let's Go
An Intro-Vert-Duction
This story revolves around 2021 yes, that year when Corona was on trending, When the lockdown first announced I was devastated this was the first time in history that a world wide lockdown declared.
My experience as a student has its ups and down, but as of my perspective as a student it was a vacation i can't explain you how but as a student you know what I'm talking about. Being confined in our homes with no outside social interaction with our homies, barber, street dogs and etc, that was tough and goes against our human nature(This line was copied from somewhere as it does not go against my human nature).
While pandemic was on its phase limit, The quarantine took hold just as students were doing their study online. This gave the opportunity to go to stay with family and get out of Lucknow for a little while. So, that's why my parents decided to move to our hometown as it was located in rural area (A Village In Simple Word) also, it was pretty safe here (according to my parents). The plan was ready, tickets were ready, luggage was ready...Everything was ready we just need to leave for the station but guess what just before few hours of our departure my father searched on google TODAYS NEWS HEADLINE and The Headline's were "In light of COVID-19, all passenger trains were suspended"...Yes all passenger train were suspended and also it may be extend even further, Therefore, we decided we will take bus with that same passion we depart for the bus stand and I was really excited as it was my first time travelling with a bus and it was very close pact and sweaty. I has difficulties in accommodating with the weather. It took us one and a half day to reach there. I feel like, this trip was going to forever as it took longer than we expected and finally after long hours of travelling we reached our destination...
A SMALL DESCRIPTION: My Village
The name of my village is Sardar Patel Nagar, it is located in the district of Siddharth Nagar as it is a small district of Uttar Pradesh. As my village is located in low lying area that has warm summer and chilly winter. Mostly I visit my village in summer's because of the holidays. Although the village is far cooler than the city during summer. Also you do not need AC in a village because of the cold breeze. In a village you see greenery and almost every household has a minimum of one tree in their courtyard.
Moreover, As you can imagine earlier there was to be more house made of mud and bricks but now the scenario has completely changed ands the number of houses made of concrete and other materials has increased. also, the people of the village are more friendlier than the people of cities.
LIFE IN VILLAGE: DURING LOCKDOWN
Every Morning I woke up at 7 and had my breakfast and then I would study for an hour and also help my mother in coking. at 10 o'clock we would have lunch. After lunch, I would do the dishes. Though I had my online classes regularly I only got a chance to join the class for a few times due to lack of Internet connection...
Well, Not Even Any Politician tells such lies, If accidently my mother reads this blog she'll be like "When did this happen"
To Avoid Such Accidents I'll take a pledge by placing my hand on my keyboard I will say nothing but the truth
Every Morning I woke up at 11 o'clock, My mother was like Will you have breakfast or lunch...? always my answer was: give me whatever left right now...well, I had online classes regularly I've even join those classes only for attendance.
I spent almost three to four months with my family and I got to know them better. It was my first time spending this long time with my family and I got to know and learn about my family struggle in their day to day activities. Despite, this I also had a great time watching movies, playing cricket and all types of indoor games with my siblings and cousins.
It was a long vacation I had lot of time for leisure time, Most of time I slept, chit-chatted with siblings, help my grand mother in the fields as a spectator and helping her with removing unwanted grass off the field but every time I always plugged the main crop because they both seem same to me that's why I always get confused because of this get scolded by my grand mother guess what she can't just see her hard work being plugged by a city boy who can't see the difference in the unwanted and the main crop.
Reason: Worst Vacation
Since it was a long vacation and people were still quarantine, Classes were online and i know that my school is coking something and whenever I joined for the attendance my class teacher remind us that our exams will be offline. Anyway, even if I score full marks in 11th so will anyone give me PS5... i didn't put any effort in studying and what so ever. Although, I don't feel anything about my exam will be offline. we packed our bags again and were ready to depart. Just before this i fell ill have high fever (first symptom of being positive). Then what was to be done my father have to cancel those ticket's (yet the second time). Doctor strictly advised not to go any hospital for check ups (As they will immediately quarantine me for 14 or 15 days). He said it's just normal fever I will be alright in 4 to 5 days and also advise me to take full bed rest. Yeah, I was alright after taking medicine and bed rest. My parents talked to my class teacher and she said it's alright take full bed rest.
Exams: An Unexpected Turn
As I was not well during my exams and I returned after exams were finished and I thought that they were cancelled actually, they were postponed. I have to give my exam separately and i was treated as VIP as not a single student was in my class when I was giving my exams. As i was alone it was easier for the teacher to keep an eye on me and I also knew "If I couldn't do anything in 3 months, What can I possibly do in 3 hours"... With that same motivation I returned home and my mother asked "How was the paper". My reply was - "I have done what i had to do, now whatever will happen next will be done by my teacher" with that line I just hoped into my bed and slept for hours...
Conclusion : The End
Our trip became a string of setbacks and disappointments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Including cancelled tickets and shuttered attractions. But despite all these uncertainties, we discover the unexpected journey and beauties of the world. As the sun sets in the quant village the mesmerizing view remain integrated in my heart, its gathered there residents one last time, reminiscing the shared moments and bonds that defined their community. They carried the memories of scenic landscapes and beautiful tradition, but a deeper appreciation of the simplicity, community, and the timeless rhythm's of rural life.
I hope to return but not at time like this!
